Updating 2010

It is past time to update the website. It needs to happen. But how can I properly go about it? My issue stems from the fact that so much of my work has changed during the last two years at art school that it feels inappropriate to just add it to the categories already in place.

What needs to happen is an entire shift to match my development.Perhaps development is too strong a word. One might be tempted to think I’ve progressed further along when really what has happened is more of a lateral jump. Hopskotch progression through art, a nonlinear leap across the void between conceptual and sensual. Even that sounds too concrete. I suspect that almost every artist has some problem describing what they do. Or it could just be me.

In any case, I’m adding this little statement to the News section, because there is currently nowhere to put it that makes any sense. My website is polished to the point that you can no longer see any fingerprints (unless your screen is dirty): what I mean is bear with me, because I’m about to make a big mess. I want this place to feel a bit more lived in.
